HALF WAIF – mythopoetics (CD, LP Vinyl)

Es ist noch gar nicht so lange her, da zog Nadi rose aka Half Waif mit dem Album "Caretaker" bewundernde Blicke auf sich, sprich man attestierte ihr, dass sie ein gutes Händchen für elektronisch verfeinerten Indie Pop hat. Etwas mehr als ein Jahr nach besagtem Album, legt sie nach und es scheint als hätte sich der elektronische Anteil ihrer Musik nochmal ein wenig verstärkt, während sie gleichzeitig die Komplexität der Songs "erhöht" hat. Vielleicht meint sie das auch, wenn sie sagt: "This is the record I've been trying to make for 10 years," Rose says. "My voice is changing, and my confidence has reached a point where I feel that I can sing however I want; I've finally come to a place where I don't have to conform to what I think other people want it to sound like." *Anti
