CD zum Sonderpreis! * Nach drei Jahren meldet sich das Trio mit einem neuen Album zurück. Lance sagt: "The Horror of Life" is a reference to Baudelaire, and its about as pretentious as can be. But it always seemed ironic, almost funny to me, especially considering that a lot of this record is an exploration of death and its meaning and its fears. Nothing super deep or philosophical, but just observations from death tripping punk girls living out some middle class, punk rock, self-destruction fantasy (the title track), to the Russian space programs launching dogs into space and leaving them to die (Cosmonaut), to the realization that Im reaching middle age and my body has stopped growing and has started decaying (Tomorrow And Forever), to a song about orgasms, which have been called little deaths (Unrequited). Die 16 Track sind dabei insgesamt etwas härter und schneller, und es scheint als hätten die drei jede Menge Wut im Bauch gehabt. Aber auch die bekannten J Church Elemente fehlen nicht und so gibt es auch wieder etliche Perlen zu entdecken ... * No Idea.
