Peter Matson, Brooklyner Produzent, DJ und Gründer der bahnbrechenden New Yorker Post-Punk-Dance-Formation Underground System, veröffentlicht mit "Hotel PM" seine Debüt-LP auf Bastard Jazz (nach zwei EPs und Releases auf Soul Clap, Planet E, Razor N Tape, Heist Recordings, Heavenly Sweetness und Hell Yeah). Das Album besticht mit Nu Disco-Sounds vom Feinsten und enthält ein Who-is-Who der Künstler, mit denen Matson bereits zusammengearbeitet hat, darunter Toribio, Kendra Morris, Pahua, The Phenomenal Hand Clap Band, Mitglieder von The Rapture, Ibibio Sound Machine, Poolside und Sly5thAve. Für Aufnahme, Produktion und Mischung sorgten Ross Orton (M.I.A., Arctic Monkeys) und Ewan Pearson (Depeche Mode, Confidence Man) zwischen dem UK (London, Sheffield), Mexiko (Mexiko-Stadt, Oaxaca) und New York City. *Bastard Jazz
